i arrived excited about a flea market 

in essence i nearly missed the beautiful 

pinetree ... "OIKAKEMATSU"

old pine tree bids you farewell.with all the hustle and bustle.. in the temple grounds of Toji Temple .. 

though the tree grows at the entrance.. hidden by the long wall.

---------------------------------------------------------------with so much activity on a festive day at any
given temple in japan there is such order and formality.. and visitors or vendors on the grounds of
Toji temple that even as a sketcher i am able to find a quiet corner to sketch and observe all the
activity.. of japanese life.
